Our client is an award-winning startup with huge dreams, based in Newcastle upon Tyne city centre. Their software as a service (SaaS) proposition operates in the ‘HR Tech’ space; one of the fastest growing sectors in tech right now. Their feature-rich platform connects employers and employees by capturing workforce feedback and insights on a continuous basis – an approach that is now adopted by SMEs and multinational corporates such as Apple, Amazon and Google.

Having experienced rapid growth over the last two years, they are now recruiting a talented DevOps Engineer to help them to the next level and beyond. They're working with an exciting technology stack that includes AWS, Docker & Terraform to build the supporting infrastructure for our platform.

  • Configuration of our AWS account using infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Managing the configuration and integration with external services.
  • Building out metrics & logging infrastructure to give us full insight into our stack.
  • Improving the security, performance, scalability and reliability of our infrastructure.
  • Provide day-to-day support of our application environments, including performing triage, root cause analysis and remediation of environment related issues.
  • Building on our engineering processes such as code reviews, pull requests, CI, etc.
