We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer who is looking to take on more responsibility in shaping the future of their next company. • Prioritisation: You’ll be able to prioritise effectively and say no politely. There’s always more demand than capacity, so prioritising the most valuable tasks and letting people down gently is crucial.

Some of the key requirements: 

• AWS: Experience with multiple accounts, cross-account IAM users & policies, and multi-AZ.

• Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Terraform/Terragrunt, Ansible, and Architect.

• Node.js/JavaScript: Ability to read and understand code. Writing production-ready code is not essential, but an understanding of issues is beneficial.

• Debian: Experience with Debian OS.

• Postgres: Experience with Postgres replication, pgbouncer, failover, and possibly Aurora.

• Redis: Experience with Redis as a session store.

• RabbitMQ: Basic understanding; not essential.

• CI/CD Pipelines: Experience in designing and building Jenkins pipelines.

• Monitoring and Logging Tools: Experience with Datadog, Elastic - Beats/Kibana (APM), and PagerDuty.

• ECS Fargate/Kubernetes: Familiarity with these technologies.

• Git and GitHub: Proficiency with Git and GitHub.
