An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Executive to join a dynamic and fast-paced team, focused on driving business growth. The successful candidate will play a key role in generating new business by making outbound calls, building client relationships, and promoting a range of services. This role also involves setting appointments for the wider sales team and accurately managing customer information and documentation.
Please note this is an office based role. The base salary for this role is £25k base with OTE £40k.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively make outbound calls to potential customers to understand their needs and promote available services
Maintain and update accurate customer records, including vehicle and finance details
Respond to customer enquiries and provide regular updates throughout the buying process
Ensure compliance with DVLA regulations and internal company policies
Input and manage data using CRM and business management systems
Collaborate with finance, operations, and registration teams to ensure smooth sales processing
Use CRM tools to manage sales pipelines, track leads, and report on performance
Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally
Work closely with internal teams across sales, production, and aftersales
What They’re Looking For
Previous experience within a commercial dealership or van brokerage setting
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Strong organisational and multitasking skills
High attention to detail with documentation and data entry
Confident user of Microsoft Office and HubSpot CRM
Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively
Relevant sales or automotive administration certifications are a plus
