We're looking for a PHP Developer to join a company within the health care industry. ou will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining PHP-based web applications and MySQL databases to support their business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Develop custom PHP applications and modules to meet business needs, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

• Optimise MySQL databases, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.

• Implement data migration tasks to transfer and synchronise data between different systems and databases.

• Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance the functionality of existing applications.

• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.

• Perform unit testing and debugging to identify and resolve software defects promptly.

• Participate in code reviews to provide feedback on code quality, performance, and adherence to coding standards.

• Help drive improvements and standards forward.

Some of the requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience in PHP development and MySQL database management.

• Proficiency in PHP programming language, including object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.

• Strong understanding of MySQL database fundamentals, SQL query optimization, and database normalisation.

• Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX and VueJS.

• Working knowledge of version control systems such as Git.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS

• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical

• concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
