We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer. You will lead website development projects, delivering high-quality, user-focused websites. This role requires both front-end and back-end development skills, along with strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.

Their tech stack includes WordPress, Roots Sage for theme development, PHP, Laravel MVC/Blade, HTML, SCSS/CSS, JavaScript, and Node/NPM. You'll collaborate with a team of developers and project managers, share ideas and technical solutions, and help improve workflows.

Responsibilities include:

  • Translating design mockups into responsive, interactive websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Collaborating with designers and project managers to ensure successful website feature implementation.

  • Writing clean, efficient code that adheres to best practices.

  • Optimizing websites for performance and SEO.

  • Troubleshooting and debugging across browsers and devices.

  • Staying updated on web development trends and proposing innovative solutions.

  • Participating in project planning and contributing technical insights.

  • Assisting with quality assurance and testing to resolve issues before deployment.

  • Collaborating with back-end developers to integrate front-end components.

  • Maintaining and updating existing websites with new features as required.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of WordPress development experience.

  • Experience developing custom WordPress themes.

  • Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, custom post types, taxonomies, Gutenberg blocks, and ACF Pro.

  • Familiarity with WooCommerce, PHP, HTML, CSS/Sass, JavaScript, Node/NPM, and GitHub.

  • Experience with responsive development, database management (MySQL), JSON, REST APIs, and version control.

  • Working knowledge of design tools like Adobe Suite, Sketch, or Figma.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
