This tech company is looking for an experienced Head of AI to lead their brand-new AI Team. You’ll be responsible for building a brand new AI team including creating an AI strategy and integrating AI into the products. 

*This role is predominantly remote with trips to the North East office once or twice a month*

Main Roles & Responsibilities:

• Strategic Development to develop and execute a comprehensive AI strategy that aligns with the company's business goals and objectives.

•  Team Leadership to build, lead, and mentor a team of AI professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

• Stakeholder Collaboration to work closely with key stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, and executives, to align AI initiatives with broader company objectives.

• Ethics and Compliance: Ensure the ethical application of AI, adhering to legal regulations and industry standards.

Essential Experience and Qualifications:

● Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

● Minimum of 5 years of experience in AI/ML, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

● Proven track record of building and leading successful AI teams.

● Deep understanding of AI/ML algorithms, data modelling, and software development.

● Experience with a variety of programming languages, including Python, R, and Java.

● Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience in cross-functional collaboration.

● A strong portfolio of AI projects, showcasing the ability to drive innovation and business impact.
