We’re looking for a superb Scrum Master to join this health and fitness organisation - and work closely with their growing development team, helping them take their digital products onto the next part of their journey. You may also be asked to support wider business projects, such as product launches and business-wide initiatives, basically whatever crazy ideas that come up!

What will you be doing?
You will be responsible for ensuring the development team apply the Scum framework, leading key ceremonies and working closely with the team on a daily basis to plan and monitor deliverables, remove blockers and issues and communicate with the wider business where necessary. You will be responsible for monitoring and improving performance, taking a mindset of continuous improvement in the optimisation of processes to fit business needs. You will also support the overall project deliverables, working with business stakeholders to plan reviews, testing and releases.

Responsibilities of the role:
● Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices
● Helping the product owner and development team to achieve customer satisfaction
● Facilitate day to day conversations and interactions within the team to ensure that communication and understanding are as efficient as possible
● Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments
● Help the scrum and development teams to identify and fill in blanks in the Agile framework
● Resolve conflicts and issues that occur throughout the development lifecycle
● Oversee the resolution of bugs and issues reported through customer services
● Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity
● Support the product owner and provide education where needed
● Track progress and communicate with relevant stakeholders about progress, adjustments, and decisions
● Manage our Jira implementation and configuration for best use
● Take a wider view of what's going on whilst maintaining awareness of team and workload

What skills and experience do you need?
● A minimum of 2 years experience as a Scrum Master
● Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflicts
● Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in the scrum
● Ability to determine what is scrum and what is not
● Experience with successful Agile techniques
● Ability to work with and lead a team
● Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
● Ability to adapt to a changing environment

What would set you apart from other candidates?
● Any Scrum qualifications or certifications
● In-depth JIRA knowledge and experience of use
● An understanding of, or experience working in, the Health and Fitness industry
● Experience using project management software, such as Monday.com etc
● Bachelor’s Degree or higher, especially within business or project management
● Experience or good knowledge of the fundamentals of coding and UX/UI
● Be able to help define specifications based on business briefs (including acceptance criteria)
