We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join one of the fastest-growing tech companies in the UK. Their technology is used by many of the world's leading brands to run the most powerful sampling campaigns online. They work with more than 200 different brands, including the largest beauty and FMCG groups.
They currently have five cross-functional teams tasked with delivering pragmatic, high-quality solutions to business and customer problems. Solutions created must be performant, innovative, scalable, and stand the test of time. They must also be aligned with the long-term goals of the business. Our teams may differ as required by the needs of the product(s) they are working on, but generally contain design, engineering, testing and product management skillsets, and generally use Scrum and other Agile practices to help them organise to solve the problems presented to them.
We are looking for an additional experienced Scrum Master to coordinate and coach a number of our cross-functional software development teams in the development and support of our applications and products. This role helps the whole scrum team to work cohesively towards a common goal and utilizes the ethos of servant leadership to guide it. Our teams have a great deal of autonomy and have all chosen to use Scrum and work in 2-week sprints, though we are always keen to challenge ourselves to be better and ask how we can improve. The Scrum Master is expected to be a key driver in that improvement cycle. The Scrum Master should be the expert on Agile methodologies, as well as general coaching, conflict resolution and facilitation of teams and individuals.
They should ensure that:
● All voices are equally heard
● The whole team is committed to an achievable and cohesive goal
● There is a good understanding of the items that are being worked on
● Teams are coordinated with each other, where there are dependencies
● Blockers are raised and handled as quickly as possible
● The team and company are challenging themselves with continual improvement
