Our cient is an award-winning ecommerce and digital marketing agency in Newcastle. They're renowned for quality, knowledge and unrivalled experience in ecommerce.

Although they're based in the greatest city in the world, they will consider applications from candidates across the UK only who wish to work remotely. They already have some remote working staff (pre-apocalypse) and are well used to it.

They're on the lookout for Front End Developer role who will be comfortable working alongside their design and development teams in implementing award-winning, best in class solutions for their clients.

You’ll be a key member of their team in helping to translate their designs into functional, high performing ecommerce solutions - and your role will be as varied as Joseph’s technicolour dreamcoat.

Nature Of Work

They provide full ecommerce design and development, digital marketing channel management, and management consultancy to a range of global, national, and regional clients in person and remotely.

On any given day, they are creating Shopify & Shopify Plus stores and apps, designing and building email campaigns, creating print marketing for clients, and working on their own IP for good measure. They also carry out standalone redesigns, CRO and UX work, and squeeze in the maintenance and hosting support of some Magento and Wordpress sites and the various integrations which make the ecommerce world turn. Don't worry, they won't expect you to touch Magento.

You’ll be involved in most of the above - you’ll be comfortable building award-winning ecommerce experiences, developing emergent ecommerce solutions and working with their wider team to shape the future of hundreds of businesses.

Skills Required

• A degree, experience or qualification in a relevant front end development discipline

Skills Desired

• Platform experience of Shopify / Shopify Plus
• Platform experience of Wordpress (who doesn't have this!)
• Understanding (or tolerance) of version control & project management tools
• JS knowledge for funky front-end stuff
