About the role:

As a Front End Developer, reporting to the Lead Developer, you will be an integral member of the growing Agile team and will be actively involved in all aspects of the software development life cycle. As this is a brand new role for the business, you’ll have a real opportunity to make the role your own and define your career path as the position grows.

Key responsibilities:

· Designing, Developing & testing reusable functional React components using React 18+.

· Producing high quality technical documentation.

· Contribute to developing and maintaining a core user interface component library.

· Liaising with internal marine engineers to support with improving our products.

What will you bring to the role?

· You will have Proficient foundation knowledge of HTML/CSS & JavaScript.

· Proven experience of modern React.js including hooks

· Working knowledge of TypeScript.

· Working knowledge of Git.

Desirable Requirements:

· Knowledge of Microsoft FluentUI.

· Angular.js 1.x experience.

· Experience in server side Node.js, Express.js and Mongo DB.

· Educated to degree level in a relevant subject.
