We just got a brand new role at a company in the tech for good space that works with over 30 different NHS Trusts, CCGs, County Councils and others involved in the provision of healthcare!

They have a massive focus on interoperability and changing the future of healthcare, so certainly a great opportunity to be part of a company making a difference. They’re now looking for a UK based remote Lead Software Engineer who’d be keen on working with Node.js, React.js, Microservices, Cloud & Express.

This company has had some absolutely incredible success over the last few years, and with the growth of the tech team, they are now looking to add a Lead Developer. This will very much be a hands-on role whilst leading and mentoring a small team of developers.

Some additional responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a team of developers and designers to create web applications and components

• Create reusable, effective, maintainable and scalable JavaScript code

• Design the data and presentation layer of the web application’s front-end

• Use additional JavaScript libraries such as Redux to manage the web application’s state, derive computed data from the state of the system, and make asynchronous API calls

• Translate the client’s technical requirements into code

• Test and update web application so that it can be used on all web browsers

• Produce design documentation including wireframes

• Respond to support issues raised by customers or automated monitoring software

This company certainly has a brilliant team of really strong Engineers/Developers. The team also has a big love for academia... so if you have a passion or experience in Mathematics or Physics, it’s a big bonus.
