This organisation is market-leading in their space and works with a range of blue-chip clients on an international level. This company has worked with huge brands which you use day-to-day including Google, Samsung, Microsoft, Huawei, HP, Dell and more. They are now looking for an experienced developer to join their product development team as a Technical Lead. 

This role will still be very much hands-on as well as leading a small, high performant team - so the ideal person for the role has some experience when it comes to leadership. 

You should have a good understanding of:
• PHP (inc. PHP 7/8); Modern PHP frameworks and Composer
• Automated testing in PHP (unit, integration, e2e testing)
• MySQL, Postgres or other SQL databases
• Object oriented design principles and common design patterns
• Client-side JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Vue.js, React)
• Software and database performance optimisation
• Software architecture
• Version control (Git)
• Queues and worker processes in PHP
• Linux
• Docker
• Web application security
• Microservice architectures

You can expect to work in a best practice agile software environment including unit testing/TDD; code reviews; static code analysis; fully automated CI/CD; and containerised (Docker) infrastructure throughout from dev to production!
